This autumn, we invite you to immerse yourself in the calming world of matcha and ceramics. Together with Louise, founder of Tyst Te, we’ll explore the beauty of Japanese tea rituals and the craft of making by hand.
The evening begins with a guided introduction to preparing traditional ceremonial matcha – learning the movements, tools, and mindful gestures behind this centuries-old practice.
We then move into the studio, where you’ll shape your own ceramic matcha bowl using our brand-new tutorial, created in collaboration with ceramicist Davide Ronco. A piece that will be both personal and lasting, perfect for your future tea moments.
